DiversityAbroad announces the opening session presentation for the African Heritage Fellowship 2013-2014 and is proud to announce Jonathan Ngandjong as a new sponsor.

Jonathan Ngandjong , entrepreneur and philanthropist, has partnered with DiversityAbroad . DiversityAbroad screens potential candidates for the scholarship of African Heritage 2013-2014 . This year's theme is " All States for a better Africa . " As sponsor of this year's challenge , Cameroon was selected as the destination of choice for potential winners by the Executive Committee of the Foundation Nzali Jonathan . The Foundation is the administrator of grants and scholarships awarded by Mr. Ngandjong . The University of Dschang ( Western Region ) in Dschang , Cameroon University is the recipient.

DiversityAbroad is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to ensure that students from diverse economic backgrounds , educational , ethnic and social are aware , have equal access and enjoy the benefits and opportunities offered by trade based global education . The University of Dschang is located in tropical, cool, West Cameroon . The University is a magnet for international students who represent 12% of its students. Several programs and support groups are offered by the University and foreign colleagues (and the Peace Corps ) to provide a scholarly atmosphere and a pleasant stay. Foreign students who live on campus can expect a high level of security. Cameroon, which is often called " Africa in miniature" has a very wide variety of physical forms , flora and fauna . The landscape varies from dense rainforest , across the savannah grasslands and semi- desert in the north . It is centrally located w in East Africa and borders on Central Africa. It has a coastline of 200 km , important for fisheries, tourism and as an outlet for its landlocked neighbors . Scholarship for African Heritage is a scholarship generally available to African researchers exceptional whose work in the pure sciences , social sciences or human sciences hold the promise of a better future for the African continent. All candidates must be persons who intend to spend at least 1 year of life after education or undergraduate studies to pursue scholarships or internships in Africa with qualified institutions in an African country designated , and to actively participate in internationally as a change agent for the economic improvement of African countries. Africa is the second largest continent on earth and contains in its 54 states a wide variety of entertainment variety to both natural and artificial. Those who study in North remiss if they failed the oldest and greatest achievements of mankind genius : the great pyramids . Near Serengeti students the chance to attend the raw power of the wildlife of Africa, including all the animals that we associate so closely with the safari. DiversityAbroad urges all current undergraduate students and graduate students who are eager to make a difference in Africa and diversifying their knowledge to apply for the scholarship of African heritage. Win a scholarship to study abroad , it is not an easy feast. However, due to sponsor Mr. Ngandjong , DiversityAbroad offer 50% more points than the previous years. The scholarship covers all costs associated with study abroad , including airline tickets , shelter , telecommunications, transportation , books , fees and tuition fees with the exception of costs associated with food, clothing and entertainment. Applicants must be currently enrolled students perfectionists and passport holders . Passport must be valid for at least 2 years from the date of application . All entries will be accepted from 1 April 2013 until 30 July 2013. Winners will be notified by August 15, 2013 . All recipients must make arrangements for traveling in autumn 2013 , spring or summer 2014.
